Cloud Computing Training in Mohali with Live Projects

Most people who want to get into cloud don’t struggle with the theory. They struggle the first time they have to launch a server, control who can access it, and work out why the website running on it won’t load.

That gap is what our cloud computing training in Mohali is built around. At Solitaire Infosystems, you learn the fundamentals first, then put them to work on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud through live projects, with a mentor reviewing your work along the way. Training runs from our centre at C-110, Industrial Area Phase 7, Mohali.

What the Training Covers

We start with the basics of cloud and Linux, then move platform by platform. Here’s the learning path:

Cloud Fundamentals

Service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), public, private and hybrid deployment, and how cloud architecture fits together. This is the vocabulary everything else depends on.

Linux Administration

Most cloud servers run Linux. You’ll get comfortable with commands, file and user management, permissions and basic shell work, so a terminal stops feeling unfamiliar.

Networking

TCP/IP, IP addressing, DNS, routing and firewalls. When something in the cloud “won’t connect”, the answer is usually somewhere in here.

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud

On AWS, you work with EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, load balancing and auto-scaling. On Azure, it’s virtual machines, storage, networking and resource groups. On Google Cloud, Compute Engine, storage and core services. Seeing all three side by side shows you what’s genuinely different between providers and what’s just the same idea under a new name.

Virtualization and Containers

Hypervisors, virtual machines and an introduction to containers: the layer underneath almost every cloud service.

Cloud Security

Identity and access management, encryption, backups and disaster recovery. One wrongly set permission can expose data, so security is part of every project rather than a chapter at the end.

The complete module-by-module syllabus is listed on our Cloud Computing Course in Chandigarh page.

How Live Projects Work

This is where the training starts to feel like real work. Instead of copying a step-by-step tutorial, you get a requirement and figure out how to meet it.

A project might ask you to host a web application on a cloud server, keep its files in cloud storage, set access so only the right people can make changes, and keep the site running when traffic goes up. To get there, you have to:

  • choose the right services for the job
  • set up the network and access permissions
  • deploy the application and test it
  • troubleshoot whatever breaks (something usually does)

Your mentor reviews your setup and points out what would need to change in a production environment. By the end, you have projects you can walk an interviewer through: what you built, why you picked those services, and what went wrong along the way.

Who Should Join

The training suits:

  • Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Tech and diploma students
  • fresh graduates looking for a practical, job-relevant skill
  • IT professionals, system administrators and developers moving into cloud
  • job seekers who want hands-on experience, not just a course on paper

You don’t need any prior cloud experience. Basic computer knowledge is enough to begin, and if you’ve never used Linux, that’s fine. It’s one of the first things we cover.

Career Paths After Cloud Training

Cloud skills are used well beyond job titles with “cloud” in them. Depending on your background and how far you take it, common entry points include:

  • cloud support or cloud operations roles
  • junior cloud or infrastructure engineer
  • system administrator
  • DevOps trainee, usually after adding scripting and CI/CD skills
  • technical support for cloud-hosted applications

To be straightforward about it: training gets you started, it doesn’t get you hired on its own. Employers want to see what you can do, which is why project work, and being able to explain it clearly, counts for more than a certificate alone. If you plan to take an entry-level vendor exam such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, hands-on practice makes that preparation much easier.

Why Train with Solitaire Infosystems

If you’re a student comparing industrial training options, our Industrial Training Guide for Students explains what to look for.

How to Choose a Cloud Computing Course

Before you enroll anywhere, including with us, ask these five questions:

  1. Will I work on real cloud accounts, or mostly watch demos?
  2. Does the syllabus include Linux and networking, not just one provider’s console?
  3. Who reviews my project work, and how often?
  4. Will I finish with projects I can explain in an interview?
  5. What support is available once the course ends?

If the answers are vague, keep looking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need coding knowledge for cloud computing training?

Not to start. Core cloud work such as servers, storage, networking and access control relies more on logical thinking than programming. Basic scripting becomes useful later, especially if you move towards DevOps.

Which cloud platform should I learn first?

We cover AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. AWS is a common starting point for beginners. Once you understand one platform properly, the others are much quicker to pick up because the core concepts carry over.

What kind of projects will I work on?

Practical deployments: hosting an application on cloud servers, configuring storage, setting up networking and access control, and applying load balancing and auto-scaling. Your mentor guides you through each one.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. You receive a Solitaire Infosystems training certificate, which employers can verify online through the certificate authentication page on our website.

Do you offer placement support?

We provide career counselling and placement guidance. We don’t promise jobs. How quickly you get hired depends on your skills, your projects and how well you prepare for interviews.

Where is the training held?

At our Mohali centre: C-110, Industrial Area Phase 7, Mohali. It’s easy to reach from Chandigarh, Panchkula and Zirakpur.
