The platform allows users to register securely, create interview sessions, upload relevant files, process interview information through an AI service, and review generated performance reports.

What makes it stand out is its end-to-end development scope. The student worked across authentication, database models, API development, middleware, file uploads, AI integration, frontend routing, state management, styling, and testing. Future enhancements could include voice-based mock interviews, resume-to-job-description matching, advanced LLM analysis, and CI/CD deployment.

 

2. StudyQuest — Making Learning Interactive With AI and Gamification

StudyQuest, developed by Iheanyichukwu Victor, combines AI-assisted content generation with gamification to make study sessions more interactive.

Key tools and technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AI/API integration, Firebase, Vercel.

The platform transforms study material into quizzes, flashcards, and interactive learning activities. Learners can track progress through XP, levels, streaks, and achievements.

Instead of simply displaying notes, StudyQuest turns learning material into an active experience. The student handled UI/UX, frontend development, AI/API integration, game logic, progress mechanisms, and deployment. The project demonstrates frontend development, product thinking, AI integration, and user engagement.

 

3. Amazon Global Sales Dashboard — Turning Data Into Business Insights

Sumit Gill’s Amazon Global Sales Dashboard shows how raw business data can be transformed into an interactive analytical report.

Key tools and technologies: Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Excel, Kaggle dataset.

The dashboard brings together sales, profit, quantity, and shipping-cost information across markets, categories, countries, cities, and shipping modes.

Key dashboard KPIs include Total Quantity: 178K units, Total Sales: $12.64M, Total Profit: $1.47M, and Shipping Cost: $1.35M. Interactive slicers help users explore categories and markets, while visualizations provide a consolidated view of the dataset.

The student handled application architecture, Flask routing, question-generation logic, answer evaluation, database design, frontend development, and session-history functionality. It is a strong example of combining application development with a practical career-focused use case.

 

5. OrangeHRM Automation — Learning Real QA Automation Workflows

This Java-based project gives software testing students practical exposure to automation frameworks and repeatable test execution.

Key tools and technologies: Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, JSON, AutoIt.

The automation covers selected OrangeHRM workflows and demonstrates browser automation, test execution, dependency management, externalized test data, native Windows file-upload handling, and result validation.

A practical challenge involved native file-upload dialogs that Selenium cannot directly control. The student designed the automation structure, wrote test logic, integrated AutoIt, configured dependencies, externalized test data, and validated execution results.

 

6. Off-Page SEO Campaign — Applying Digital Marketing in Practice

Komal Preet Kaur’s project focused on an off-page SEO and link-building campaign for TheGearEdges.com, an industrial engineering products website.

Key tools and technologies: Image sharing, Social bookmarking, Classified listings, Infographic distribution, Q&A submissions.

The student mapped target keywords to relevant product pages, researched appropriate platforms, created and distributed content, and maintained a structured campaign-tracking spreadsheet.

The documented campaign contains 30+ recorded backlinks/mentions across the selected activity categories. Importantly, the project separates campaign activity from SEO performance claims: ranking or organic-traffic improvements were not claimed without supporting performance data.

 

7. Home SIEM Lab — Building Practical Cybersecurity Skills

Arjun’s Home SIEM Lab uses Wazuh to demonstrate File Integrity Monitoring across a Windows endpoint and an Ubuntu-based manager.

Key tools and technologies: Wazuh Manager, Windows endpoint, Ubuntu-based manager, File Integrity Monitoring.

The student deployed the Wazuh Manager, installed and registered an agent, configured file monitoring, generated file activity, and validated alerts through the Wazuh dashboard.

The project demonstrates SIEM architecture, agent-manager communication, file integrity monitoring, alert generation, log pipelines, and security monitoring. Building and testing a functioning lab makes the learning experience more practical for students interested in SOC and Blue Team roles.

 

8. Web Application Firewall Lab — Understanding Attack and Defense

Arjun also developed a Web Application Firewall home lab to demonstrate how web security controls can detect and block SQL injection attacks in an isolated environment.

Key tools and technologies: VirtualBox, Kali Linux, Ubuntu Server, Apache, PHP, MySQL, DVWA, SafeLine WAF, OpenSSL.

The lab follows an attack-and-defense model: a deliberately vulnerable application is deployed in an isolated environment, a SQL injection test is performed from Kali Linux, SafeLine WAF is positioned as a reverse proxy, the request is tested through the WAF, and the resulting logs are reviewed.

The student also troubleshot networking, DNS, ports, and firewall configuration. The project highlights an important cybersecurity lesson: practical security work requires both security concepts and the ability to troubleshoot real technical environments.

 

9. Linux Malware Detection Tool — Security Through Bash Scripting

Arjun’s Linux Malware Detection Tool demonstrates how Bash scripting and native Linux commands can be combined into a lightweight security utility.

Key tools and technologies: Bash, Linux commands, Severity classification, Terminal reporting.

The script checks indicators such as suspicious processes, network connections, world-writable files, hidden files, suspicious cron jobs, and recently modified files.

Findings are categorized as HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW severity and followed by a consolidated risk report. The student independently implemented detection logic, severity classification, terminal formatting, and summary reporting—showing how a focused scripting project can address a practical cybersecurity problem.

 

10. Florince Flowers—Designing an E-Commerce Experience in Figma

Jashanpreet Kaur’s Florince Flowers project is a complete UI/UX concept for an online flower and gifting brand.

Key tools and technologies: Figma, Brand identity, E-commerce UX, Information hierarchy.

The design covers the customer journey from homepage discovery to product collections, filtering, promotional offers, product browsing, and customer support.

The student developed the brand identity, homepage, product collections, product cards, category and occasion filters, promotional banners, best-seller sections, navigation system, and contact/support interface. The project demonstrates an understanding of user journeys, e-commerce patterns, branding, and information hierarchy.
